Continuing Education Sessions
Friday, April 26
2:45 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
This year, the option of off-site continuing education sessions returns to the conference agenda. Attendees will have the option to choose between two off-site continuing education sessions and three on-site offerings on Friday afternoon. Those who wish to learn how Chatham County is tackling mental health may visit the Chatham County Gateway Behavioral Health Crisis Center while those interested in how the County tackles homelessness may visit The Cove at Dundee, a tiny home community for veterans. Registration is required for both off-site options and space is limited.
Join issue experts, state leaders, and county officials as they share their professional expertise and first-hand experiences during the on-site continuing education sessions. Session topics include:
- Awareness, Preparedness, Resilience with Cyber Tools and Services
- County Success Under the Gold Dome
- Counties, Mental Health, and the Georgia Opioid Settlement Advisory Council
Take advantage of off-site sessions to learn how you can replicate the programs in your county or engage with issue leaders during on-site programming. No matter the selected option, county officials will have the opportunity to leverage the collective knowledge of other leaders.
